EMEE is a non-profit association made up of 35 national and regional Music Export offices from 29 countries, with its registered office based in Brussels. We pull together a mix of public and private funding to support European musicians, music companies and music professionals in their export strategies.

Help provided by music export offices who are part of EMEE includes funding, capacity building and training, business to business advice, international networking, business support programs and much more. Through their work, our members encourage cross border circulation, cultural diversity and economic development for music professionals and the artists they assist, while consulting, initiating and/or implementing music export policies at National, European and Global level.

EMEE’s mission is to strengthen the European Music Sector by encouraging musical diversity, visibility, and supporting mobility in and outside Europe. We facilitate this through the exchange of information and expertise from our members as well as project initiatives between our members and/or other music industry organisations. Our objectives include:

• Initiate and facilitate the exchange of expertise, information, data and best practices among European export offices and the artists and companies they empower through the developing of a dynamic and valuable Network of European Music Export Offices.
• Develop and organise cooperation between our members by implementing projects inside and outside Europe
• Represent the interests of our members and those they service before European and International institutions for matters relating to Music Export
